Job summary

Novogradac & Company LLP is seeking a Property Compliance Analyst to perform tenant file reviews for Section 42 compliance with focus on 24 CFR Part 5 income eligibility. The role requires regulatory interpretation, risk assessment, and timely completion of engagements, with occasional evenings and travel.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in Section 42, a bachelor’s degree preferred, and certifications such as COS or HCCP. Remote/hybrid options may be available; strong Excel skills are expected.

Qualifications

• 3 years of Section 42 experience focusing on 24 CFR Part 5 income eligibility.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; certifications encouraged.
• Demonstrate ability to obtain COS/HCCP within one year.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills; travel 25–35%.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre- and post-occupancy tenant file compliance reviews for designated clients.
• Identify issues and communicate recommended actions.
• Research federal and state compliance regulations and apply findings with supervision.
• Meet productivity and accuracy benchmarks; deadline-driven.
• Develop client relationships with professionalism and follow-through.
• Other duties as assigned.
