Job summary

Novogradac & Company LLP is seeking a Property Compliance Analyst to perform tenant file compliance reviews under Section 42, with a specific focus on income eligibility per 24 CFR Part 5. The role supports multiple U.S. locations and may offer remote or hybrid options depending on needs.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, solid Excel skills, and the ability to manage deadlines. Domestic travel is expected at 25–35% to support engagements and client needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 3+ years in Section 42 with focus on income eligibility preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; COS/HCCP or related certifications encouraged.
• Strong understanding of HOTMA and housing regulations; ability to interpret rules with supervisor guidance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-occupancy tenant file compliance reviews and reports.
• Identify and communicate potential risk areas during engagements; recommend actions.
• Research federal/state compliance regulations and apply findings with guidance.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards in a deadline-driven environment.
• Develop client relationships through professionalism and follow-through.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
