Job summary

FMX is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive to join our Higher Education sales team and drive growth across a West Coast territory. This is a remote-first role covering the Pacific Northwest and broader West Coast.

You will work alongside a team of Sales Development Representatives while also driving your own pipeline, leading prospective FMX customers through the sales funnel from problem identification all the way to becoming an FMX customer.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to close in a multi-state territory.
• Experience selling to Higher Education buyers is strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience using Salesforce (or a similar CRM) and/or Sales Engagement Platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a territory in the Higher Education segment.
• Consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual new business targets.
• Build relationships with potential clients and analyze their challenges.
• Progress prospects through the buyer’s journey and conduct platform demonstrations.
• Utilize FMX tech stack to manage opportunities in Salesforce, Gong, etc.
• Close deals and exceed metrics (ARR, meetings).
• Collaborate with SDRs on prospect notes and meeting topics.
• Contribute to weekly sales and training meetings.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date pipeline data.
