Job summary

FMX is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive to drive growth for our K-12 sales team across the West Coast. The role is remote and may involve travel to multi-state districts, excluding California.

You will own your pipeline, run platform demos, negotiate contracts, and engage district leaders from problem identification to activation. Ideal candidates have 2+ years closing roles, experience selling into K-12, and a track record in remote sales.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a closing or selling role, with preference for K-12 buyers.
• Experience selling into K-12 school districts strongly preferred; public sector or higher education experience is highly preferred.
• Experience working in a remote sales environment.
• Ability and willingness to travel to manage a multi-state territory.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a multi-state K-12 territory (Public School Districts, Charter Networks, Private/Independent K-12 Schools).
• Meet and exceed quarterly and annual new business targets.
• Build relationships with district customers and analyze their operational/challenge areas FMX can solve.
• Lead platform demonstrations, negotiate contracts, and educate key administrators on implementation.
