Job summary

FMX is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive to join our Higher Education sales team and drive growth across a West Coast-centric territory. This remote role spans the Pacific Northwest and broader West Coast, collaborating with a Sales Development team while independently managing pipeline from initial contact to FMX customer.

The ideal candidate has experience closing deals in higher education, handles complex multi-stakeholder cycles, and communicates FMX value clearly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a closing or selling role (Higher Education sales preferred)
• Experience working in a remote sales environment
• Ability to manage complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
• Experience using Salesforce and Sales Engagement Platforms
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Self-motivation in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a territory in Higher Education (colleges, universities, community colleges)
• Meet and exceed quarterly and annual new business targets
• Build relationships with potential clients and analyze their challenges
• Lead buyers through the FMX funnel and conduct platform demonstrations
• Negotiate contracts and set expectations for implementation
• Collaborate with SDRs and sales leaders on pipeline and meetings
• Maintain accurate data in CRM and sales tools
• Participate in weekly sales and training meetings
