Job summary

FMX is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive to join our Higher Education sales team. This remote role covers the Pacific Northwest and broader West Coast territory, working with a SDR team while driving your own pipeline from qualification to close.

You will demo FMX platforms, negotiate contracts, and educate key decision-makers. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in closing roles, experience in remote sales, and strong communication, with Salesforce and Gong proficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of closing or selling experience (Higher Education sales preferred).
• Experience in remote sales environments.
• Ability to manage complex sales cycles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a Higher Education territory in the West Coast.
• Meet/exceed quarterly and annual new business targets.
• Build relationships and qualify client challenges for FMX solutions.
• Demonstrate FMX platform, negotiate contracts, and guide buyers through the funnel.
• Use Salesforce, Gong, and FMX tools to manage opportunities.
• Collaborate with SDRs and participate in weekly sales/training meetings.
• Maintain accurate pipeline data and contribute to team goals.
