Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead all preconstruction activities for HV electrical infrastructure projects, including substations and transmission lines.

You will manage planning, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, risk assessment, procurement strategy, and client coordination from concept through construction handoff. This fully remote role requires expertise in substations, BESS, and interconnections, with travel to project sites and utilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred.
• ~7+ years of experience in electrical construction, high-voltage projects, estimating, or project management.
• ~Experience with substations, transmission lines, utility-scale solar, wind, BESS, or industrial electrical projects.
• ~ Experience managing projects exceeding $10M preferred.
• ~ Electrical codes and industry standards
• ~ Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction activities for high-voltage electrical projects from concept through turnover.
• Analyze designs, bid documents, labor, equipment, and material pricing for estimates.
• Serve as primary preconstruction contact with clients, utilities, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Develop project execution strategies aligned with client objectives and company goals.
• Coordinate preconstruction deliverables from inception through construction turnover.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and procurement to develop detailed project schedules.
