Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead all preconstruction activities for high-voltage electrical infrastructure projects, including substations, transmission lines, BESS, and interconnection work. This role oversees budgeting, scheduling, risk assessment, and client coordination from concept through construction handoff, and is fully remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent industry experience may be considered.
• 7+ years in electrical high-voltage construction, estimating, or project management.
• Experience with substations, transmission lines, utility-scale solar, BESS, or industrial electrical projects.
• Experience managing projects exceeding $10M preferred.
• Familiarity with HV substations and EPC/design-build delivery methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction efforts for HV projects from concept to turnover.
• Develop project execution strategies aligned with client objectives and company goals.
• Prepare conceptual, budgetary, and detailed cost estimates; manage procurement and bid packages.
