Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead all preconstruction activities for HV infrastructure projects, including substations and transmission lines. The role is fully remote with discussion on location details during interviews.

You will handle planning, budgeting, risk assessment, and client coordination from concept through handoff. Requirements include 7+ years in electrical construction or preconstruction, experience with substations and utility-scale

Qualifications

• Must have 7+ years in electrical construction or preconstruction leadership.
• Experience with substations, transmission lines, or utility-scale projects.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Experience leading preconstruction activities and managing >$10M projects.
• Strong knowledge of EPC/design-build delivery methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction for high-voltage projects (12kV–500kV+).
• Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and constructability reviews.
• Develop execution strategies aligned with client goals.
• Coordinate deliverables from inception to turnover.
• Prepare cost estimates and analyze bid docs.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships throughout the project.
