Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead preconstruction activities for HV electrical infrastructure projects nationwide, including substations, transmission lines, solar, wind, and BESS interconnections. This remote role requires strong planning, estimating, scheduling, budgeting and risk assessment skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in electrical construction, high-voltage projects, estimating, or project management.
• Experience with substations, transmission lines, utility-scale solar, wind, BESS, or industrial electrical projects.
• Experience managing projects exceeding $10M preferred.
• Electrical codes and industry standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction for HV electrical projects (12kV–500kV+).
• Oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling and constructability reviews.
• Develop execution strategies aligned with client objectives and company goals.
• Coordinate preconstruction deliverables from inception to turnover.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor proposals; manage procurement.
• Identify project risks, review safety, quality and efficiency.
