Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead preconstruction for substations, transmission lines, and BESS across projects. The role manages planning, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, risk assessment, and client coordination.

This position is fully remote and may involve travel for critical meetings. You will guide cross-functional teams, develop execution strategies, and ensure handoff from preconstruction to construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent industry experience may be considered.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical construction, high-voltage projects, estimating, or project management.
• 3+ years of experience leading preconstruction activities preferred.
• Experience with substations, transmission lines, utility-scale solar, wind, BESS, or industrial electrical projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction efforts for high-voltage electrical projects ranging from 12kV through 500kV+ systems.
• Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and constructability reviews.
• Develop project execution strategies that align with client objectives and company goals.
• Coordinate preconstruction deliverables from project inception through construction turnover.
• Prepare conceptual, budgetary, and detailed cost estimates.
• Analyze engineering designs, specifications, and bid documents.
