Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead all preconstruction activities for substations, transmission lines, renewable interconnections, and BESS projects nationwide.

This role manages planning, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, constructability reviews, procurement strategy, risk assessment, and client coordination from concept through handoff. This position is fully remote in the United States; travel to project sites and client meetings as required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in electrical construction, HV projects, estimating, or PM.
• Experience with substations, transmission lines, utility-scale renewables, or industrial electrical projects.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specs, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction activities for HV projects 12kV–500kV+, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Develop project execution and procurement strategies aligned with client objectives.
• Coordinate deliverables from inception to construction turnover and ensure risk mitigation.
• Review and update cost estimates, labor, equipment, and material pricing; monitor critical path.
• Facilitate client coordination, kickoff meetings, and stakeholder alignment; support pursuit efforts.
