Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead preconstruction for substations, transmission, and renewable energy interconnections.

This remote role covers nationwide projects, coordinating planning, estimating, scheduling, and risk assessment from concept to handoff. The role requires 7+ years in electrical construction or related fields, with experience in HV systems and large-scale projects, plus proficiency in estimating platforms and project management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred.
• ~7+ years of experience in electrical construction, high-voltage projects, estimating, or project management.
• Experience with substations, transmission lines, utility-scale solar, wind, BESS, or industrial electrical projects.
• Experience managing projects exceeding $10M preferred.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction activities for high-voltage electrical infrastructure projects (12kV–500kV+).
• Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and constructability reviews.
• Develop project execution strategies aligning client objectives with company goals.
• Coordinate preconstruction deliverables from inception through turnover.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor/subcontractor proposals and ensure alignment with estimates and schedules.
