Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead all preconstruction activities for HV electrical infrastructure projects, including substations, transmission lines, and BESS deployments.

This fully remote role involves coordinating planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk assessment, and client management from concept through construction handoff. The position requires 7+ years in electrical construction or PM roles, with expertise in HV systems and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience considered.
• 7+ years in electrical construction, high-voltage projects, estimating, or project management.
• 3+ years leading preconstruction activities.
• Experience with substations, transmission lines, solar, BESS, or industrial electrical projects.
• Experience managing projects exceeding $10M.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction efforts for HV projects ranging from 12kV through 500kV+ systems.
• Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and constructability reviews.
• Develop execution strategies aligning client objectives with company goals.
• Coordinate preconstruction deliverables from inception through turnover.
• Support procurement strategy development and vendor evaluation.
• Facilitate kickoff meetings and stakeholder alignment.
