SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a seasoned High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead all preconstruction activities for HV electrical infrastructure projects, including substations, transmission lines, solar, wind, and BESS installations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• 7+ years of experience in electrical construction, high-voltage projects, estimating, or project management
• Experience with substations, transmission lines, utility-scale solar, wind, BESS, or industrial electrical projects
• Experience managing projects exceeding $10M preferred
• Electrical codes and industry standards familiarity
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction efforts for high-voltage electrical projects ranging from 12kV through 500kV+ systems
• Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and constructability reviews
• Develop project execution strategies aligning with client objectives and company goals
• Coordinate preconstruction deliverables from inception through construction turnover
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor proposals
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, finance, procurement, and business development teams
• Ensure alignment between project estimates, schedules, and execution plans
• Facilitate smooth handoff from preconstruction to construction operations
• Travel to project sites, client meetings, and utility facilities as required
