SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead all preconstruction activities for high-voltage electrical infrastructure projects, including substations, transmission lines, renewable interconnections, BESS, and industrial power distribution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical construction, high-voltage projects, estimating, or project management.
• 3+ years of experience leading preconstruction activities preferred.
• Experience with substations, transmission lines, utility-scale solar, wind, BESS, or industrial electrical projects.
• Experience managing projects exceeding $10M preferred.
• Familiarity with: High-voltage substations; Transmission and distribution systems; Utility interconnection requirements; Electrical codes and industry standards; EPC and design-build delivery methods.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction efforts for high-voltage electrical projects ranging from 12kV through 500kV+ systems.
• Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and constructability reviews.
• Develop project execution strategies that align with client objectives and company goals.
• Coordinate preconstruction deliverables from project inception through construction turnover.
• Identify project risks related to scope, schedule, procurement, labor, permitting, and site conditions; develop mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, finance, procurement, and business development teams to develop detailed schedules.
• Facilitate smooth handoff from preconstruction to construction operations.
