Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead all preconstruction activities for HV electrical infrastructure projects nationwide.

The role coordinates planning, budgeting, risk assessment, and client engagement from concept through handoff, with a focus on substations, transmission lines, solar, wind, and BESS initiatives. The position is fully remote and requires strong leadership, scheduling, and procurement skills to ensure successful project execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, electrical engineering, or related field.
• ~7+ years of experience in electrical construction, high-voltage projects, estimating, or project management.
• ~Experience with substations, transmission lines, utility-scale solar, wind, BESS, or industrial electrical projects.
• ~Experience managing projects exceeding $10M preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction activities for high-voltage electrical infrastructure projects (12kV–500kV+).
• Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and constructability reviews.
• Develop project execution strategies aligned with client objectives and company goals.
• Coordinate preconstruction deliverables from inception through turnover.
• Procurement and vendor management; ensure alignment between estimates, schedules, and execution plans.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies with engineering, operations, and procurement teams.
