Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead all preconstruction activities for high-voltage electrical projects, including substations and transmission lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical construction, high-voltage projects, estimating, or project management.
• Experience with substations, transmission lines, utility-scale solar, wind, BESS, or industrial electrical projects.
• Experience managing projects exceeding $10M preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and industry standards
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction activities for high-voltage electrical infrastructure projects from concept through handoff.
• Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, constructability reviews, and procurement strategy.
• Coordinate with clients, utilities, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project schedules and manage critical path activities.
• Identify long-lead equipment and monitor milestones
• Facilitate handoff from preconstruction to construction operations
