Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead all preconstruction activities for substations, transmission lines, renewable interconnections, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and industrial power distribution projects.

This fully remote leadership role requires coordinating planning, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, constructability reviews, and client coordination from concept through construction handoff.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in electrical construction, HV projects, estimating, or PM.
• Experience with substations, transmission lines, utility-scale solar, wind, BESS, or industrial electrical projects.
• Experience managing projects exceeding $10M preferred.
• Electrical codes and industry standards
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preconstruction planning, budgeting, scheduling, and constructability reviews.
• Develop project execution strategies aligning with client objectives and company goals.
• Coordinate preconstruction deliverables from inception through turnover.
• Identify long-lead equipment and critical path activities; monitor milestones.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and procurement to align estimates, schedules, and execution plans.
