Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a High Voltage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead all preconstruction activities for HV electrical infrastructure projects, including substations, transmission lines, renewable interconnections, BESS, and industrial power systems. This role manages planning, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, constructability reviews, procurement strategy, risk assessment, and client coordination.

This position is fully remote. Location details will be discussed during the interview.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• 7+ years in electrical construction or project management.
• Experience with high-voltage substations and transmission projects.
• Experience leading preconstruction activities.
• Familiarity with EPC/design-build delivery methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction efforts for HV projects from 12kV to 500kV+.
• Oversee planning, budgeting, scheduling, and constructability reviews.
• Develop execution strategies aligned with client goals and company aims.
• Coordinate preconstruction deliverables from inception through turnover.
• Prepare cost estimates and analyze bid documents.
• Manage client relationships and stakeholders throughout the project.
