Job summary

State Collection Service, Inc. is hiring Health Care Customer Service Representatives to handle inbound and outbound calls regarding insurance, financial assistance, and payments in a remote, high‑tech environment.

Prior knowledge of medical terminology and patient billing is preferred, with bilingual candidates welcome to support bilingual calls. Roles include flexible scheduling (evenings and Saturdays), equipment and technical support provided, and a comprehensive benefits package including

Qualifications

Knowledge/experience of medical terminology, patient billing, healthcare insurance and/or healthcare administration preferred
1+ years’ experience working in Call Center or Customer Service handling inbound/outbound calls

Responsibilities

Makes and answers calls in the name of the client to resolve billing and payment issues using established work queues/cools
Responds to requests for information by patient/account holders in a professional, thorough, explainable manner
Follows client-specific protocols and policies when carrying out duties
Demonstrates flexibility in scheduling and assignments, to include regular evening and Saturday work as the business requires
Bilingual candidates will provide additional support for bilingual calls
