State Collection Service, Inc. is seeking remote Health Care Customer Service Representatives to handle inbound and outbound calls about insurance, billing, payments, and general account questions in a fast-paced team environment.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of call center or customer service experience and a basic understanding of medical terminology, patient billing, and healthcare administration. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply, and evening or weekend availability is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in a call center or customer service handling public inquiries.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, patient billing, healthcare insurance preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Make and answer calls to resolve billing and payment issues.
• Respond to information requests in a professional manner.
• Pursue payment arrangements and ensure compliance with FDCPA, FCRA, HIPAA.
• Follow client-specific protocols and policies.
