State Collection Service, Inc. is seeking remote Health Care Customer Service Representatives to join our growing team. You will handle inbound and outbound calls, resolving questions about insurance, financial assistance, and processing payments in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.

The role emphasizes adherence to healthcare privacy laws, accurate info delivery, and collaborative teamwork. Evening and weekend flexibility is required, with the potential for performance-based pay increases.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in a call center or customer service role with public contact.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, patient billing, healthcare insurance or healthcare administration preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability.
• Flexible scheduling including evenings and Saturdays as needed.
• Ability to work well in a team-based environment.
• Bilingual candidates provide additional support for bilingual calls.

Responsabilités

• Make and answer calls in the name of the client to resolve billing and payment issues.
• Respond to information requests from patients/accounts in a professional, thorough manner.
• Pursue payment or arranged payments on behalf of the client as appropriate.
• Follow client-specific protocols and policies.
• Investigate and respond to client inquiries as needed.
• Enter and monitor payment arrangements.
• Adhere to FDCPA, FCRA, HIPAA and other applicable laws.
