GE Aerospace seeks a Government Sales Director - Software to lead growth with the FAA and partners. You will own account strategy, pursue complex multi-element opportunities, and coordinate proposals, pricing, and negotiations across product, engineering, and consulting teams.

This role emphasizes consultative selling, long-cycle deals, and executive engagement with procurement and program leadership. Remote-based US location with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• 5+ years of sales or account management experience.
• Experience with U.S. government customers, ideally FAA.

Responsibilities

• Lead the FAA account growth strategy with pipeline development, new business capture, revenue expansion, and market penetration.
• Identify, qualify, shape, and close new business opportunities across software, digital solutions, consulting, and development.
• Build executive relationships across procurement, contracting, program leadership, and technical teams.
• Develop capture strategies, pursuit plans, and win strategies aligned to customer priorities and timelines.
• Drive opportunity management, forecasting, and account planning to identify whitespace and growth.
