Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Government Sales Director - Software to lead and expand the FAA-focused portfolio of aviation software solutions. This remote, full-time role requires expert leadership in business development, capture management, and cross-functional deal execution across software, consulting, and development offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of sales or account management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the FAA account growth strategy with a primary focus on pipeline development, new business capture, revenue expansion, and market penetration.
• Identify, qualify, shape, and close new business opportunities across a portfolio of complex offerings including software, digital solutions, consulting, and development capabilities.
• Build and strengthen executive-level relationships with stakeholders across procurement, contracting, program leadership, operational leadership, and technical organizations.
• Develop and execute capture strategies, pursuit plans, and win strategies aligned to customer priorities and acquisition timelines.
• Drive proactive account planning to identify whitespace, funding pathways, upcoming procurements, and strategic growth opportunities.
• Lead customer engagements that require consultative selling and shape solutions combining product, service, consulting, and development components.
