Job summary

Parexel is seeking a Global Supply Sourcing Coordinator to work remotely and support depots, investigational products, couriers, and ancillary supplies for clinical studies. You will analyze requirements, advise internal customers, and coordinate sourcing activities to ensure compliant products are available when trials run.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, master's or equivalent in biology, pharmacy, health-related discipline, international trade, business administration, logistics, or relevant experience.
• Operational understanding of clinical studies, supply chains, sourcing and contracting principles.
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice, Good Distribution Practice, and Good Practice requirements.
• Strong MS Office skills; ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Excellent communication and adaptive, detail-oriented problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain close working relationships with internal and external customers and provide professional sourcing advice and assistance at all levels.
• Monitor quality, pricing accuracy, purchase requests, approvals, and purchase orders.
• Conduct commodity research, regulatory requirements, supplier selection, and RFIs/RFPs.
• Ensure products and services are obtained at budgeted prices meeting local requirements for AR/AD materials.
• Coordinate the return of rental equipment and medical devices.
• Own and action sourcing help desk tickets, create and execute Statements of Work, and complete on-demand sourcing activities.
• Anticipate sourcing challenges, resolve issues, and identify compliant alternatives with suppliers.
• Obtain required supplier and manufacturer documentation for import/export activities.
• Address quality issues with third-party suppliers and mitigate risk through resolution; mentor junior staff.
