Job summary

Parexel, a global clinical development partner, is seeking a Supply and Logistics Coordinator to join our team working remotely. You will provide tactical sourcing for investigational products, couriers, and ancillary supplies, analyze study requirements, coordinate sourcing activities, and ensure compliant products are available for studies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in biology, pharmacy, another health-related discipline, international trade, business administration, or logistics, or relevant work experience
• Operational understanding of clinical studies, related supply chain activities, sourcing, and contracting principles
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice, Good Distribution Practice, and Good Practice requirements
• Strong Microsoft Office knowledge
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing study needs
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize work with tight timelines and significant urgency while maintaining attention to detail and first-time quality

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with internal customers and provide sourcing advice at all levels
• Monitor pricing accuracy, purchase requests, approvals, and purchase orders
• Conduct commodity research, supplier selection and evaluation, and RFIs/RFPs
• Ensure products meet import/export requirements and budgeted prices
• Coordinate returns of rental equipment and medical devices with suppliers for refunds/credit
• Own and action sourcing help desk tickets and create Statements of Work
• Analyze data and trends to support bulk purchasing and supplier qualifications
• Anticipate sourcing challenges and resolve issues with suppliers
• Obtain supplier/manufacturer documentation for import/export activities
• Mitigate risk and manage quality with third-party suppliers
• Mentor junior team members and assist with system challenges
