Job summary

Parexel is seeking a Global Supply Sourcing Coordinator to join our team working remotely. You will provide tactical sourcing solutions for depots, investigational medicinal products, couriers, and ancillary supplies, ensuring compliant products are available for clinical studies.

You will analyze complex study requirements, advise internal customers, and coordinate sourcing activities that support supplier selection, contracting, and problem resolution in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in biology, pharmacy, health-related discipline, international trade, business administration, or logistics, or relevant work experience.
• Operational understanding of clinical studies, supply chain activities, sourcing, and contracting principles.
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice, Good Distribution Practice, and Good Practice requirements.
• Strong Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to adapt to changing study needs.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize work with tight timelines and urgency while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain close working relationships with internal and external customers and provide professional sourcing advice at all levels.
• Monitor quality, pricing accuracy, purchase requests, approvals, and purchase orders.
• Conduct commodity research, regulatory requirements, supplier selection, and RFI/RFP/RFP processes.
• Ensure products and services are obtained at budgeted prices and meet local requirements.
• Coordinate return of rental equipment and medical devices.
• Own and manage sourcing tickets, create and execute statements of work, and complete on-demand sourcing for study needs.
• Anticipate sourcing challenges and work with suppliers to identify compliant alternatives.
• Obtain supplier and manufacturer documentation for import/export activities.
• Address quality issues involving third-party suppliers and mentor junior team members.
