Job summary

Parexel is seeking a Global Supply Sourcing Coordinator to join our remote team. You will provide tactical sourcing for depots, investigational products, couriers, and ancillary supplies, impacting study timelines and regulatory compliance.

You will analyze study requirements, advise internal customers, and coordinate sourcing activities to ensure compliant products and services are available when clinical studies need them.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in biology, pharmacy, health discipline, international trade, business administration, logistics, or relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of clinical studies, supply chain, sourcing and contracting principles.
• Knowledge of GCP, GDP, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain close working relationships with internal/external customers and provide sourcing advice at all levels.
• Monitor quality, pricing accuracy, purchase requests, approvals, and purchase orders.
• Conduct commodity research, regulatory requirements, supplier selection, and RFI/RFP/RFP processes.
• Ensure products meet budgeted prices and local requirements for ancillary materials and investigational products.
• Coordinate return of rental equipment and medical devices.
• Own sourcing help desk tickets, create Statements of Work, and execute on-demand sourcing for study needs.
• Anticipate sourcing challenges, resolve issues with suppliers and identify compliant alternatives.
• Obtain supplier/manufacturer documentation for import/export activities.
• Address quality issues with third-party suppliers and mitigate risk through resolution.
• Assist internal customers with sourcing questions and mentor junior team members.
