Job summary

UpGuard seeks a Director of Global Solutions Engineering to lead the technical engine behind our revenue organization. You will manage a global, multi-layered team of Sales Engineers and Solutions Consultants, reporting to the CRO, and own both pre-sales and post-sales technical excellence.

You will drive the technical win, elevate security assessments, enable partners, and translate customer feedback into product needs, shaping a scalable revenue function in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Proven track record building and leading world-class Solutions/Sales Engineering teams.
• Experience selling and supporting technically complex products to technical buyers.
• Strong collaboration with Sales, CS, Product, and Enablement.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global, multi-layered team of Sales Engineers and Solutions Consultants.
• Own the technical win in pre-sales with demos, PoCs, technical discovery, and value engineering.
• Own the post-sales technical escalation path and cross-sell enabling initiatives.
• Stay hands-on and jump into high-stakes customer calls when needed.
• Elevate RFPs, security assessments, and develop reusable content to raise win rates.
• Enable and scale partner ecosystems with training, certification, and demo readiness.
• Partner with Enablement to design and deliver technical training and playbooks.
• Be the voice of the customer to Product and Engineering to influence roadmaps.
• Operate as a revenue leader with forecasting, capacity planning, and GTM metrics.
