Job summary

UpGuard is hiring a Director of Global Solutions Engineering to lead the technical engine behind our revenue organization. You’ll manage Sales Engineers and Solutions Consultants globally, driving the technical win in pre-sales and guiding post-sales escalation.

The role requires strategic leadership across regions, deep cybersecurity knowledge, and a hands-on approach when needed. You’ll own RFPs, security assessments, and partner enablement while partnering with Enablement to sharpen training

Qualifications

Proven track record building and leading distributed tech teams.
Experience selling a technical product to engineers and security buyers.
Strong leadership across pre- and post-sales functions.
Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on customer engagement.

Responsibilities

Lead a global, multi-layered team of Sales Engineers and Solutions Consultants across regions.
Drive the technical win in pre-sales with demos, POCs, and value engineering.
Oversee post-sales escalation and cross-sell with a dedicated Services team in mind.
Be hands-on in high-stakes customer calls to set the technical bar.
Improve RFPs, security assessments, and reusable content to raise win rates.
Enable and scale partner ecosystems with training and certifications.
Collaborate with Product to relay field feedback and roadmap input.
Forecasting, capacity planning, and defining scalable revenue metrics.
