Job summary

UpGuard is redefining cyber risk management from a remote-first base, hiring a Director of Global Solutions Engineering to lead our global technical engine. You’ll guide a distributed team of Sales Engineers and Solutions Consultants, drive the technical win in pre-sales, and own post-sales escalation paths to enable cross-sell across our product suite.

Qualifications

Proven track record building/leading world-class Solutions/Sales Engineering teams.
Experience selling/ supporting technical products to engineers, security teams, and architects.
Experience managing distributed/global teams across multiple time zones.
Ownership of technical experience across customer journey, from pre-sales to post-sales.

Responsibilities

Lead a global, multi-layered team of Sales Engineers and Solutions Consultants.
Drive pipeline, demos, POCs, technical discovery, and value engineering to win new business.
Own post-sales technical escalation and cross-sell across the product suite.
Stay hands-on to lead high-stakes customer calls and set the technical bar.
Scale RFPs, security questionnaires, and assessments for faster turnaround and higher accuracy.
Enable and train partners to independently represent and implement the product.
Collaborate with Enablement, Product, and Engineering to influence the roadmap.
