Job summary

Airbnb is seeking an experienced Payment Partnerships Manager to drive the vision, execution, and ongoing performance of our payout partner network for hosts across 200+ markets. You will lead business development, deal negotiations, and strategic relationship management to ensure hosts are paid reliably and efficiently.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in payments or fintech, with at least 8 years in strategic partnerships, business development, or enterprise account management.
• Proven success owning commercial negotiations and multi-million dollar partnerships.
• Experience crafting and executing partner strategies that drive measurable growth.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve payout partner strategy in collaboration with Payments, Product, Compliance and Finance to ensure coverage and alignment with Airbnb’s goals.
• Identify partners in each market, structure new deals, and renegotiate relationships to optimize cost, reach and innovation.
• Lead multi-market deal execution for payouts, including commercial structures and contracts.
• Own and cultivate high-impact relationships with financial institutions, payment processors, banks, and other partners, including executive-level engagement.
• Monitor partner performance, address gaps, and drive cross-functional improvements.
• Drive global payments strategy and ensure partner decisions reflect regional needs and regulatory environments.
