Job summary

Airbnb is seeking an experienced Payment Partnerships Manager to lead the payout partner strategy and global payments partnerships. You will collaborate with Legal, Treasury, Risk, Product, Engineering, and Global Operations to ensure compliant, scalable payouts across 200+ markets.

You will own strategic relationships with banks, processors, and fintech partners, drive negotiations, and monitor performance to optimize cost, reliability, and growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in payments/fintech
• 8+ years in strategic partnerships or enterprise account mgmt
• Proven record in multi-million dollar partnerships
• Experience with global payment methods and cross-border payouts
• Experience with regulators or regulated partners in cross-border environments
• MBA or equivalent degree is a plus

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve payout partner strategy with Payments, Product, Compliance and Finance
• Identify partners in each market and negotiate deals to optimize cost and reach
• Manage executive-level relationships with banks, processors, and financial institutions
• Monitor partner performance and drive cross-functional improvements
• Scale payout infrastructure and align with regional market needs and regulatory environments
