Job summary

Harris Computer, part of Constellation Software, seeks a player-coach sales leader experienced in GIS and AI-enabled software. You will carry a personal quota, lead a remote US sales team, and own pipeline, forecasts, and budgets.

Regular travel to customer sites and GIS conferences is expected. You will explain AI capabilities for GIS data, engage with cities, counties, and utilities, and drive end-to-end sales including prospecting, demos, and closing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B software sales, with a record of meeting or beating quota.
• Experience leading or coaching a sales team while carrying your own number.
• Experience selling GIS, mapping, or location software or services.
• Experience building a team forecast and presenting it to leadership.
• Experience managing or contributing to a sales budget.
• Working knowledge of GIS tools and concepts, such as ESRI ArcGIS, spatial data, and web maps.
• Experience with public sector or utility buyers, including RFPs and long sales cycles.
• You use AI tools every day in your own work, for things like account research, meeting prep, proposals, and forecasting.
• Strong CRM habits (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
• Comfortable working independently from a home office.
• A background as a GIS analyst, technician, or solutions engineer.
• Experience selling software with AI features, or rolling out AI sales tools to a team.
• Ties to the US GIS community, such as state GIS associations or URISA.
• A seller at heart who also enjoys building a team.

Responsibilities

• Run the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demos, proposals, pricing, and closing.
• Lead the sales team and coach the team while carrying your own quota.
• Own our pipeline and bookings forecast, and report up to Harris leadership.
• Set territories, quotas, and goals, and help each person hit them.
• Use AI insights to sharpen coaching and forecasting.
• Sell GIS and AI with credibility to public sector and utilities.
• Talk GIS workflows and data with GIS staff, IT, and executives alike.
• Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns and GIS conferences.
• Maintain CRM data and run regular pipeline reviews.
