Job summary

Harris Computer is seeking a player-coach sales leader for a fully remote role in the United States. You will own your territory, lead the sales team, manage the pipeline and bookings forecast, and coach others on GIS and AI-driven selling. Regular travel to customer sites and GIS conferences is expected.

You will speak to cities, counties, and utilities across the US, using AI tools daily and maintaining strong CRM discipline. This is a remote leadership role with Constellation Software backing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B software sales with quota track record.
• Experience leading a sales team while carrying own number.
• Experience selling GIS or location software or services.
• Experience building team forecasts and presenting to leadership.
• Experience managing or contributing to a sales budget.
• Working knowledge of GIS tools (e.g., ESRI ArcGIS) and spatial data.
• Experience selling to public sector or utilities, including RFPs.
• Daily use of AI tools for account research, meeting prep, proposals, and forecasting.
• Ability to explain AI to non-technical buyers clearly.
• Strong CRM habits (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
• Comfortable working remotely from home office.

Responsibilities

• Sell your own territory with a personal quota and full sales cycle.
• Lead and coach the sales team; set territories and goals; hire when needed.
• Own pipeline, bookings forecast, and CRM data; use AI reports with judgment.
• Sell GIS and AI with credibility; explain limits and data protection.
• Take care of customers with CS/PS and collaborate with Marketing on events.
