Job summary

Harris Computer is seeking a player-coach sales leader with GIS acumen to drive revenue across the US in a fully remote role. You will manage your own territory and quota while guiding a sales team, owning pipeline, and forecasting to Harris leadership.

You will leverage AI daily for research, prospecting, and forecasting, and explain AI capabilities and limits to customers. Regular travel to customer sites and GIS conferences is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B software sales.
• Experience leading or coaching a sales team while carrying your own number.
• Experience selling GIS, mapping, or location software or services.
• Experience building a team forecast and presenting it to leadership.
• Experience managing or contributing to a sales budget.
• Working knowledge of GIS tools and concepts, such as ESRI ArcGIS, spatial data, and web maps.
• Experience with public sector or utility buyers, including RFPs and long sales cycles.
• You use AI tools every day in your own work for account research, meeting prep, proposals, and forecasting.
• You can explain AI to a non-technical buyer clearly and honestly.

Responsibilities

• Carry a personal quota and own your sales territory.
• Run the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, demos, proposals, pricing, and closing.
• Lead, coach, and grow our sales team.
• Own our pipeline and bookings forecast, reported up to Harris leadership.
• Talk GIS workflows, spatial data, and AI capabilities with customers.
• Collaborate with Customer Success and Marketing on campaigns and conferences.
