Client, a leader in Aerospace & Defense, seeks a Sales Manager – Geospatial Solutions to drive a technically sophisticated geospatial software and services sales organization. This remote role balances direct territory selling with team leadership, forecasting, and customer engagement to fuel growth through strategic sales execution.

The candidate will collaborate across teams, leverage GIS/AI insights, and travel to GIS conferences as needed while guiding a high-performing sales team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B software sales with quotas.
• Experience leading or coaching a sales team while managing personal sales targets.
• Familiarity with GIS, mapping, or location software and services.
• Proficient in building and presenting sales forecasts to leadership.
• Experience managing or contributing to a sales budget.
• Daily user of AI tools for sales processes, with the ability to explain their benefits and limitations.

Responsabilités

• Sell within your own territory, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
• Lead and coach the sales team, setting goals and helping team members achieve them.
• Own the pipeline and bookings forecast, ensuring accurate reporting to leadership.
• Utilize AI insights for coaching and sales strategy improvements.
• Engage with customers to explain GIS and AI applications clearly and effectively.
• Collaborate with Customer Success and Professional Services to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Partner with Marketing on campaigns and GIS conferences.
