Job summary

Wolfjaw Studios is seeking a Business Development Associate to join its fully remote team. You will split time between business development (about 75%) and team support (about 25%), researching prospective clients, assessing fit, drafting outreach, and turning project notes into client case studies.

You don't need to be an engineer, but you should talk credibly about backend systems and scale. Strong writing and research skills are essential, and prior sales or BD experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in sales, business development, marketing, or outreach-focused roles.
• Ability to write concise emails and client-facing materials.
• Experience researching prospective clients and using CRM to track outreach.
• Familiarity with HubSpot or Apollo CRM tooling.
• Comfort communicating in English with internal teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Researching prospective clients across games and media, including products, news, and infrastructure work.
• Evaluating whether prospects are a genuine fit and documenting reasoning for team visibility.
• Finding timely reasons to reach out, such as launches or platform changes, and verifying them against sources.
• Drafting personalized cold emails and follow-ups reviewed before sending; keeping CRM data up to date.
• Researching and drafting client case studies from engineering notes into polished stories.
• Supporting leadership with research, document prep, and day-to-day needs.
