Job summary

Wolfjaw Studios is hiring a Business Development Associate to drive client outreach and support our engineering team with project documentation. The role blends business development (about 75%) with team support (about 25%), collaborating with leadership and engineers to win and sustain backend projects for top multiplayer titles.

The ideal candidate is a curious self-starter with strong writing and research skills, able to discuss backend systems at scale, and comfortable with remote work.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in sales, business development, marketing, recruiting, or outreach-focused roles.
• Familiarity with CRM and prospecting tools such as HubSpot or Apollo, and comfort using Google Workspace.
• Experience writing for an audience in marketing, journalism, blogs, or technical docs.
• Curious, proactive self-starter with interest in how games are built and run at scale.
• Fully remote availability; ability to work across time zones and teams.

Responsibilities

• Research prospective clients across games and media, including products, news, and backend challenges.
• Evaluate fit for Wolfjaw's services and document reasoning for the team.
• Identify timely reasons to reach out (launches, milestones, platform changes) and verify with primary sources.
• Draft personalized cold emails and follow-ups; maintain outreach tracker and CRM accuracy.
• Write client case studies from engineer/project notes in the established format.
• Support leadership with research, document prep, and other day-to-day needs.
