Job summary

Wolfjaw Studios is seeking a Business Development Associate to split time between research-driven client outreach and supporting engineers by turning project notes into client-ready case studies. You'll interact with leadership and our engineering team to understand backend systems and how Wolfjaw wins and maintains projects.

Ideal candidates are curious self-starters with experience in outreach roles, familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot/Apollo) and Google Workspace, and a talent for credible

Qualifications

• Prior experience in sales, business development, marketing, recruiting, or another outreach-focused role.
• Familiarity with CRM and prospecting tools such as HubSpot or Apollo, and comfort working in Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Docs).
• Experience writing for an audience, such as marketing copy, journalism, blog posts, or technical documentation.
• Strong writing skills to craft concise, personalized emails and longer-form case studies.
• Strong research skills to locate information, assess reliability, and summarize key points.
• You don't need to be an engineer, but you should talk credibly about backend systems and scale.

Responsibilities

• Research prospective clients across games and media, including products, news, and technical challenges.
• Evaluate fit for Wolfjaw's services and document reasoning for the team.
• Identify timely reasons to reach out (launches, milestones, platform changes) and verify with primary sources.
• Draft personalized cold emails and follow-ups; keep outreach tracker and CRM up to date.
• Write client case studies from engineering and project notes in established format.
• Support leadership with research, document prep, and day-to-day needs.
