Job summary

The Landline Company is seeking a Fleet Manager to lead maintenance across our growing motorcoach fleet. You will manage plan, vendors, and data, with a path to scaling to a 100-vehicle fleet while ensuring OEM intervals and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include budgeting with Finance, coordinating maintenance, and maintaining accurate records in Fleetio and Samsara. Remote work is supported with periodic travel to U.S./Canada sites.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in transportation operations, logistics, aviation, fleet operations, or operations-focused consulting including transportation.
• A degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain, or related field or equivalent hands-on experience in transportation logistics.
• Strong data and analytical skills; Excel required; SQL, Python, or BI tools (Tableau/Power BI) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the maintenance function with plan, vendors and data; scale to support a 100-motorcoach fleet.
• Build and maintain a rolling maintenance forecast aligned to OEM intervals and usage patterns.
• Maintain the maintenance budget with Finance; updates and variance reporting.
• Coordinate unscheduled and corrective maintenance to avoid service disruption.
• Manage records and DVIR resolution; communicate with SOC/ Dispatch.
