Qualifications

• 9+ years of accounting with Big 4 and industry.
• CPA required; strong US GAAP knowledge incl ASC 805, ASC 321, ASC 323, ASC 810.
• Experience leading financial due diligence across live deal processes.
• Managing external consultants and advisors in M&A workstreams.
• Drafting technical memos and original disclosures for filings.
• Uses generative AI with human oversight to improve workflow.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial due diligence on target companies.
• Own end-to-end purchase accounting for acquisitions under ASC 805.
• Drive accounting treatment for strategic investments ASC 321/323/810.
• Shape Coinbase accounting policies with technical memos.
• Deliver disclosures for 10-Q and 10-K and ensure SOX controls.
• Collaborate with Product, Legal, Tax, FP&A, Controllership, and Corporate Development.
