Coinbase is seeking an M&A and Accounting Policy Manager to serve as the primary accounting resource across the full lifecycle of transactions, from due diligence to post-close integration. You'll help evolve accounting policies with Legal, Tax, and Controllership, applying deep US GAAP expertise.

• 9+ years of progressive accounting experience with a strong mix of Big 4 public accounting and industry experience.
• Deep US GAAP knowledge, including M&A accounting (ASC 805), investment accounting (ASC 321/ASC 323), and consolidation (ASC 810).
• Proven ability to draft technical accounting memos and disclosures for cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience leading financial due diligence and coordinating with external auditors.

Responsabilidades

• Lead financial due diligence on target companies, including quality of earnings analysis and identify accounting risks.
• Own end-to-end purchase accounting for acquisitions under ASC 805, including PPA and goodwill calculations.
• Drive accounting treatment for strategic investments under ASC 321, ASC 323, and ASC 810.
• Shape Coinbase's accounting policies via technical memos for new products in partnership with Legal and Tax.
• Deliver footnote disclosures, MD&A, and transaction disclosures for 10-Q/10-K with SOX controls oversight.
• Collaborate with Product, Legal, Tax, FP&A, and Corporate Development on new launches and post-close integration.
