Coinbase, Inc. seeks an M&A and Accounting Policy Manager to lead the accounting resource across the full M&A and investment lifecycle, from due diligence to post-close integration. You will evolve policies with Legal, Corporate Development, Tax, and Controllership, applying deep US GAAP expertise.

You will deliver disclosures for 10-Q and 10-K, ensure SOX controls, and drive policy shaping for new products in collaboration with auditors and cross-functional teams.

Formación

• 9+ years of progressive accounting experience with Big 4 public accounting and industry experience.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge, including M&A accounting (ASC 805), investment accounting (ASC 321, ASC 323), and consolidation (ASC 810).
• Proven experience leading financial due diligence across live deal processes.
• Track record managing external consultants and advisors across M&A workstreams.
• Proven ability to draft technical accounting memos and original disclosures for cross-functional stakeholders.
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly with human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs.

Responsabilidades

• Lead financial due diligence on target companies, including earnings quality and working capital assessments.
• Own end-to-end purchase accounting for acquisitions under ASC 805.
• Drive accounting treatment for strategic investments under ASC 321, ASC 323, ASC 810.
• Shape and evolve accounting policies through technical memos on new products with external auditors.
• Deliver footnote disclosures, MD&A, and 10-Q/10-K disclosures, ensuring SOX controls are effective.
• Partner with Product, Legal, Tax, FP&A, Controllership, and Corporate Development on new product launches and post-close integration.
