Job summary

Atlas Copco Group is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive growth by applying technical know-how and customer insight. You will engage with new and existing customers, deliver presentations, and develop plans to protect and expand key relationships.

Based remotely for a Raleigh-based US entity, you will collaborate with sales, engineering, and product teams to tailor solutions and implement strategies that meet customer needs while advancing Atlas Copco's market position.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in the compressed air industry or with compressed air systems.
• Bachelor's degree in management, business, administration, marketing, engineering or other technical specialization is desirable.
• Customer-focused with ability to prioritize customer needs.
• Willingness to take risks while analyzing potential pitfalls and staying organized.

Responsibilities

• Engage in face-to-face and remote sales to new customers and cross/up/repeat sales to existing customers.
• Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services, and solutions.
• Deliver sales presentations and conduct product demonstrations.
• Develop medium-to-long-term sales plans and strategies to protect, grow, and diversify relationships.
• Ensure successful implementation of sales strategies leveraging technical expertise.
