Job summary

Atlas Copco Group is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive growth by combining technical expertise with a deep understanding of customer needs. This remote US role reports to the Sales Manager and collaborates with engineering and product teams to execute sales strategies.

You will engage in face-to-face and remote sales, assess customer needs, deliver presentations and demos, and develop medium-to-long-term plans to grow and diversify key accounts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the compressed air industry or with compressed air systems.
• Bachelor's degree in management, business, administration, marketing, engineering or related technical field (desirable).
• Customer-focused with ability to understand and prioritize customer needs.
• Willing to take calculated risks while managing potential pitfalls.
• Self-motivated, organized and able to handle varied workloads.

Responsibilities

• Engage in face-to-face and remote sales to new customers, as well as cross-sell, up-sell, and repeat sales to existing customers.
• Assess customer needs and propose appropriate products, services, and/or solutions.
• Deliver sales presentations and conduct product demonstrations.
• Develop medium-to-long-term sales plans and strategies to protect, grow, and diversify relationships with targeted customers.
• Ensure successful implementation of sales strategies by leveraging technical expertise and understanding of customer needs.
