Job summary

Quincy Compressor LLC is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive sales growth by applying technical knowledge and understanding customer needs. You will report to the Sales Manager and collaborate with engineering and product teams to implement sales strategies.

This role involves presenting products, analyzing customer requirements, and developing medium-to-long-term plans to protect and grow key accounts. It is a fully remote position employed through our Hartford entity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in the compressed air industry or with compressed air systems.
• Bachelor's degree in management, business, administration, marketing, engineering or other technical specialization is desirable.
• Customer-focused with ability to understand and prioritize customer needs.
• Willingness to take calculated risks while analyzing potential pitfalls.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and manage varied workloads.
• Assertive, organized and flexible in daily work.

Responsibilities

• Engage in face-to-face and remote sales to new and existing customers.
• Assess customer needs and propose products, services or solutions.
• Deliver sales presentations and conduct product demonstrations.
• Develop medium-to-long-term sales plans and strategies to protect and grow key accounts.
• Ensure successful implementation of sales strategies through technical understanding of customer needs.
