Job summary

Quincy Compressor LLC is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive growth by applying technical knowledge to solve customer needs in compressed air systems. You will work with the Regional Sales Manager, engineering and product teams to implement sales strategies and meet regional targets.

You will prospect accounts, design solutions, audit systems, help with rebates, train distributors, and push for revenue across rotaries, compressors and aftermarket services.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in the compressed air industry or with compressed air systems.
• Bachelor's degree desirable in management, business, administration, marketing, engineering or other technical specialization.
• Customer-focused with ability to understand and prioritize customer needs.
• Willing to take risks while analyzing potential pitfalls.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
• Able to handle varied workloads with flexibility and organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic sales territory, new accounts, opportunities and call planning.
• Guide customers in designing compressed air solutions and stay current on product offerings.
• Prospect new and drifted accounts to generate revenue and manage quotes.
• Audit compressed air systems, present results and assist rebates with utilities.
• Provide training to customers and sub-distributors; support and grow the network.
• Aim to achieve sales goals in rotaries, compressors, accessories and aftermarket services.
• Collaborate with other teams to develop opportunities and retention strategies.
• Use Salesforce, CPQ and ERP tools for quoting and tracking activities.
• Process orders with proper documentation and approvals.
• Provide market feedback to sales and marketing teams.
