Job summary

Quincy Compressor in Union, NJ seeks a Sales Engineer to drive sales growth of our compressed air solutions. You will work with engineering and product teams to implement sales strategies and expand key accounts across a defined territory.

You have 3+ years in the compressed air industry, a customer-focused mindset, and are self-motivated with strong organizational skills. Travel is required domestically as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in the compressed air industry or with compressed air systems.
• Bachelor's degree in management, business, administration, marketing, engineering or other technical specialization.
• Customer-focused with ability to understand customer needs and prioritize them accordingly.
• Willing to act while coping with varied workloads and can be assertive and organized with flexibility in daily work.
• Self-motivated and able to lead yourself.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers in designing compressed air solutions and stay current on Quincy product offerings.
• Prospect new and drifted accounts to generate revenue and manage quotes and follow-up.
• Audit compressed air systems and work with local utility to process energy savings rebates.
• Provide training to customers and grow local sub-distribution networks.
• Collaborate with other sales teams to develop opportunities and retain customers.
• Use Salesforce.com, CPQ (iQ2), ERP (SAP) to quote and record activities.
• Process orders with required PO, documentation, approvals and contract review.
